
The Women’s World Cup 2025 Qualifiers are underway across two venues in Lahore from April 9. Here are the ICC women’s ODI rankings ahead of the tournament.
The 2025 Women’s World Cup Qualifier commenced on April 9 in Pakistan. The hosts will be pitted in a round-robin league with the West Indies, Bangladesh, Thailand, Ireland, and Scotland until April 19. The top two teams will proceed to the main tournament, to be played later this year. There, they will join hosts India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.

Of the teams that have already qualified, Sri Lanka are at eighth place, below the West Indies and Bangladesh, both of whom are playing in the Qualifier. Thailand are above Pakistan, but part of that is because the former have played only seven games over the period. Ireland and Scotland also feature in the top 12 in the rankings table.

Outside the top 12 are the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, the USA, and Papua New Guinea. Of them, Zimbabwe are the only ones to have played more than 10 games over this period.
