ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier 2025: What are the start and end dates?
All 15 matches will be played in a round-robin format.
Two venues in Lahore, Pakistan – Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore City Cricket Association – will be hosting the six-nation event set to run between April 9 and 19.
Which teams are participating?
The sixth edition of the qualifier will have four full member nations – Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and Ireland. They were unable to secure direct qualifications in the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup, having finished between seventh and 10th place in the ICC Women’s Championship.
Scotland and Thailand will make the six-team line-up as they will feature for being the next-best ranked sides in the ICC Women’s ODI team rankings on October 28 2024.

Why is the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier 2025 important?
The top two sides at the end of the tournament will qualify for the main event. They will be joining Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts India, who have already qualified for the World Cup on the virtue of their standings in the 10-team ICC Women's Championship 2023-25.
