Winning the toss, India elected to field first against Nepal at the ICC Academy Ground No.2 in Dubai. It did not take them long to strike as the first wicket fell in the fifth over.
Right-arm seamer Raj Limbani opened the account for India and ran through the Nepal batting order. Barring the third, sixth, and eighth wicket, Limbani took each of the other seven wickets to fall in the Nepal innings, finishing with figures of 9.1-3-13-7.
None of the Nepal batters got into double digits as they were bowled out for a mere 52 in 22.1 overs. India required just four bowlers as Aaradhya Shukla took two wickets and Arshin Kulkarni one wicket, while Saumy Pandey bowled two overs for just one run.

In response, Adarsh Singh and Kulkarni opened the batting for India and finished off the chase in just 7.1 overs. The entire match lasted less than 30 overs as India overpowered Nepal by ten wickets.
Kulkarni did the bulk of the scoring in the partnership, hitting as many as five sixes to remain unbeaten on 43 off 30 balls.
With this victory, India sealed their spot in the semi-final, finishing second on the points table in Group A behind Pakistan. The semi-finals will be played on December 15, while the final will be played on December 17.
