He dismissed Shohidul Islam, Al-Amin and Bilal Khan with consecutive balls to cap off a dominant 73-run win. Having joined the competition halfway through after a spell in the SA20, Moeen took another two wickets in his following outing, but went wicketless in four consecutive matches thereafter. Aside from his half-century, he had a high score of 23 with the bat from his other six appearances, with three single digit scores.
Samit Patel
9 innings, 68 runs at 13.6, SR: 90.66, HS: 32
10 wickets at 16.4, BBI: 3-16, ER: 4.68
A high score of 32 from six outings with the bat in the competition aren’t pretty reading for Patel, especially when considering his next-highest score was 13. The Strikers finished sixth in the league stage with five wins from 12.

He hit ten sixes on his way to an unbeaten 108, reaching three figures off 50 balls with another maximum. He followed up with five catches in the Challengers’ innings, the first batter to hit a century and hold as many catches in a men’s T20 match.
It was Jacks’ second century in as many months after he whacked 101 off 42 balls for Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 in January. He also picked up a wickets in the tournament, dismissing Afif Hossain in his first match into the side.

Tom Banton
1 innings, 26 runs at 26, SR: 108.33, HS: 26
Just the one outing for Banton across the tournament following a spell in the ILT20. He scored 26 off 24 balls opening the batting with Tamim Iqbal. He was replaced by Ahmed Shehzad for Fortune Barishal’s next match, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz coming back in later in Barishal’s title-winning campaign.

It was the second time Howell took three wickets in the season, having taken 3-21 previously. However, he was arguably more impressive with the bat, smashing two consecutive half-centuries at No.6. The first was 53 off 32 balls while the second was an unbeaten 62 off 31 which set up victory over Comilla Victorians.
