The inaugural edition of the Women's One Day Cup is underway, with both Tier One and Two competitions taking place across the next few months. Here's all you need to know about the new competition, including squads, schedule, and streaming details.
What's the ECB Women's One-Day Cup format?
The new competition this year mirrors the men's counterpart tournament, but is split into two leagues. Eight Tier One sides will compete in one, while 10 Tier Two sides will make up the other. There will be two separate finals and knockout stages as part of the new structure of women's domestic cricket in England and Wales.
England players will also be available for a significant chunk of early fixtures before the international summer gets underway. Heather Knight, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Alice Capsey, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Paige Scholfield and Ryanna MacDonald-Gay have already featured in the tournament, as has former New Zealand captain Suzie Bates, who has signed as an overseas player for Durham.
