Sky Sports will rerun the 2017 Women’s World Cup final in full on their Cricket and Main Event channels from 11am on Saturday, May 2.
The broadcast will be preceded with hour-long highlights packages of each semi-final, while for the final hour there will be a Watchalong involving some of the stars involved in the final.

The special event follows Sky rerunning the fourth day of the 2019 Headingley Ashes Test and the 2019 World Cup final in full, with Watchalongs for the denouements of each. While the Ashes rerun was also streamed on the Sky Sports Cricket YouTube channel, it is unlikely the Women’s World Cup final will be due to rights restrictions.
The final itself is regarded as one of the most thrilling cricket matches in history. In front of a sellout crowd at Lord’s, Anya Shrubsole scripted a comeback for the ages, claiming 6-46 as England reduced India from 191-3 to 219 all out to seal a nine-run win. Her spell was voted Wisden’s Women’s Spell of the 2010s.
The semi-finals were scarcely less exciting, with India overcoming Australia thanks to Harmanpreet Kaur’s 171*, voted Wisden’s Women’s Innings of the 2010s, and England overcoming South Africa by two wickets in a last-over nail-biter.
