Pakistan Shaheens suffered a 24-run loss against Zimbabwe A in the first Unofficial ODI of the series two days back (May 17) at the same venue. Chasing 235, the Shaheens were bowled out for 210 in 47 overs.

Ryan Burl was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with 69 runs off 68 balls. For Pakistan Shaheens, Aamer Jamal and Mir Hamza took four and three wickets respectively. In the second innings, no Pakistan batter could reach fifty, with Mubasir Khan’s 49 being the highest score. Tendai Chatara and Wellington Masakadza combined to pick up nine wickets among them, with Chatara taking a five-wicket haul.

The two teams clash again today in Harare for the second match of the series. Pakistan Shaheens, led by Imran Butt, will look to bounce back from the defeat in the last game while Zimbabwe A will look to double down on the current series scoreline.
