Wanindu Hasaranga has been building a star reputation as a player, and on Wednesday he hit the perfect note to be lauded on social media after his gesture towards Chahar. The Indian leg-spinner had bowled a wide leg break to the right-hander, who looked to slash the ball away over the off-side field, only to find the fielder in the circle.

Chahar appeared pumped up by the dismissal, animatedly giving the Sri Lankan all-rounder a mouthful while he trudged off the crease. Hasaranga, however, swayed away from the battle, instead applauding the Indian for the delivery before walking off.
