Watch: Aleem Dar playfully tries to get in the way of Shahnawaz Dahani’s celebration

Watch: Umpire Aleem Dar playfully tried to stop bowler Shahnawaz Dahani after the fast bowler set off in celebration following the wicket of Naseem Shah in a PSL game between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on Friday.

Multan were the winners against Quetta on Friday, registering a huge 117-run win. Batting first, Multan were led by quick knocks from Shan Masood (57 off 38), Mohammad Rizwan (83* off 54 balls), and Rilee Rossouw, who raced away to 71 off only 26 balls. In reply, Quetta could never get going, losing wickets in a cluster to get dismissed for 128.

One of the highlights of the game was when respected umpire Dar displayed got in the way of Multan’s Dahani after the latter bowled Naseem in the 14th over of the chase. Jubilant, Dahani started running towards the crowd, and Dar tried, unsuccessfully, to get in the way.

With the two wickets, Dahani increased his tally of wickets to 12 in this year’s competition.
