Dhoni, who had an upset stomach leading up to the game, had to return to the dressing room in the 43rd over of the Bangladesh innings. Kohli, Dhoni’s deputy at the time, took on wicketkeeping duties for an over bowled by Umesh Yadav.
While this situation in itself was quite unusual, Kohli made it more memorable by using the opportunity to mimic Dhoni during his short wicketkeeping stint.
Kohli has been known to pull out impressions every once in a while, as he did with Jasprit Bumrah during the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
