Watch: The wicket which gave Mohammad Yousuf an international bowling average of 4

by Wisden Staff 1 minute read

Watch: Mohammad Yousuf, known for his batting accomplishments, managed to pick up his only international wicket off his only delivery in the 2007 ODI World Cup in Kingston against Zimbabwe.

Mohammad Yousuf, previously known as Yousuf Youhana, has only ever bowled eight balls in international cricket and just two of them came in ODIs, one of which yielded a wicket. A medium pacer, Yousuf delivered his only ball of the 2007 World Cup to Zimbabwe’s No.11 batsman Chris Mpofu.

A juicy half volley, the ball was driven straight to the cover fielder by Mpofu to spark off celebrations from the Pakistan players, with Yousuf seemingly the most amused of them all.
