Watch: Tamim Iqbal made a shocking fielding error in a Dhaka T20 competition game on Saturday between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Prime Bank Cricket Club.

The Bangladesh international was fielding at long-on when the batsman hit the ball towards him. Tamim got behind the ball, collected it cleanly and shaped to throw it back in, only stopping when he realised he had stepped past the boundary rope several moments before ever so casually without realising it.

In Tamim’s defence, the billboard was pushed back quite a bit and there was a considerable gap between the ropes and the board. However, the fact that he was unaware of the whereabouts of the rope made for a hilarious incident in the competition.
