Watch: Sarfaraz Ahmed gets clean-bowled by his five-year-old son in street cricket game

by Wisden Staff 2 minute read

Watch: Pakistan have never had a shortage of exciting young fast bowlers off the production line, but the latest might be the youngest ever, with Sarfaraz Ahmed bowled by his son, Abdullah, in a street cricket game.

The former Pakistan captain simply had no answer to his offspring’s pace, movement, and accuracy, with a video circulating on social media of the youngster charging in and nailing a pinpoint yorker, disturbing Sarfaraz’s stumps Pepsi crates and sending the assembled crowd into wild celebrations.

Sarfaraz, batting in jeans and beaten for pace, had a wry smile after being skittled, but he can at least console himself with the fact that his son looks to be a prospect to be feared!
