Watch: Kuldeep Yadav, playing for India A, took a hat-trick to bring an end to New Zealand A’s innings in the second of three unofficial ODIs.

Kuldeep, 27, averages 28.63 from 69 ODIs and is part of an experienced India A XI taking on New Zealand A.

The sides have already competed in a three-match red-ball series that India won 2-0, and India have now also wrapped up the white-ball series with a game to spare having won the two unofficial ODIs by seven and four wickets respectively.

In the second game, India bowled out New Zealand for 219, before Privthi Shaw smashed 77 off 48 balls as India cantered home with 16 overs to spare.

With the ball, Kuldeep claimed 4-51, taking the final four wickets of the innings with his hat-trick coming from the final three balls of his spell.

The first victim of the feat was Logan van Beek, who was caught by Shaw, before Joe Walker and Jacob Duffy were caught behind and bowled respectively. Duffy in particular can count himself unfortunate as he got a ball far too good for most, let alone a No.11, the ball turning sharply back into him to send him packing
