Watch: Glenn Maxwell stepped seamlessly into the RCB camp, unfurling a series of reverse sweeps and switch hits in the nets.
Maxwell, who was bought for a whopping INR 14.25 crore in the IPL 2021 auction, looked in red-hot form in a practice session video released by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Australian, who greeted Yuzvendra Chahal with a warm hug and some light banter, played a couple of switch hits against the leg-spinner before playing some reverse sweeps against medium pacer Dan Christian.
Maxwell’s form in IPL 2020 had earned massive criticism, as the Australian made just 108 runs in 13 matches, averaging 15.42 while striking at 101.88.
