Alastair Cook given guard of honour by India in final test
India’s fielders gave Alastair Cook a guard of honour on his way to the middle in his final Test at The Oval.
Virat Kohli shook the England opener’s hand as Cook entered the fray after Joe Root had won a fifth consecutive toss and chosen to bat on day one.
There was a rapturous welcome for Cook, who is playing his 161st – and last – match for England.
