The 12th edition of the US Open Cricket T20 tournament starts on December 15 with eight teams fighting it out for the title. Here’s everything you need to know about the live telecast and streaming of the American tournament.

The tournament, in its entirety, will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida over the course of five days with the final scheduled for December 20. The eight teams have been divided into two groups of four, and the top two in each group after the league stage will make it to the playoffs.

Chris Gayle and Andre Russell are two of the biggest names to take part in the tournament, meaning local American players get a chance to feature with and against some of the biggest names in the sport.

However, given the problems posed by Covid-19, the teams participating in the tournament has been cut down to eight this year. In a release last month, USA cricket said: “This year’s tournament has reduced the number of teams competing due to COVID-19 protocols that are being strictly adhered to by the organizers from Cricket Council USA, so as best to allow players, umpires and coaches involved to take part safely.”
