The United States Youth Premier League (USYPL) is a US-based, youth T20 cricket league, that will be held in the Greater Washington (DC) Metro region between July 18-21, 2023.

The inaugural USYPL will be split into two age groups of U15 and U19 players. Each league then consists of four franchise teams with players competing from across the US, with fixtures taking place between July 18-21, 2023. The USYPL is a unique competition as it is the first national youth franchise league to take place in the US.

Players from clubs and academies from across the US can compete in the league as there are no contracts other than a small registration fee. There will be a Player of the Match nominated for each game and series.

The USYPL strictly adheres to the United States Cricket (USAC) rules and regulations in allocating teams. The player selection process will be familiar to fans of T20 leagues across the world.

Players are categorized into three groups; Platinum, Gold, and Silver. Platinum players will play every game scheduled by his or her respective franchise, but franchises can chop and change players in the other categories.

The USYPL’s Title Sponsor, nxlvl, allows players to download their app, register themselves and upload their videos to exhibit their skills. Selectors can then understand their abilities and pick them according to their teams’ strengths, strategies, and needs. This will not only help established players showcase their skills but also assist new players who do not yet have the statistics to do justice to their talent.

The vision of Olympic Indoor Sports is to use the USYPL to encourage young players to develop and improve their cricket skills and to strive to be the best they can be. Olympic Indoor Sports has involvement in many sports, including baseball and softball.
