India will go into the second Test with a highly inexperienced batting line up. Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been ruled out due to injuries. Either one or both of Rajat Patidar and Sarfaraz Khan can make their Test debuts, while Washington Sundar also has a realistic chance of making a comeback in the absence of Jadeja.
England have made two changes to their XI for the second Test. Injured Jack Leach has been replaced by debutant Tom Hartley, while James Anderson has made way for Mark Wood.
