Zimbabwe are touring Sri Lanka for three ODIs in January 2024. Here is the SL vs ZIM 2024 ODI schedule, including the full fixtures list, match timings and venues.

Zimbabwe will tour Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20Is in January 2024. The six floodlit matches will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The tour begins with the ODIs, on January 6, 8, and 10, and all matches start at 2.30 PM local time.

For the ODIs, Zimbabwe will be led by Craig Ervine, and will feature the talismanic Sikandar Raza. Faraz Akram, who has played four T20Is, and Tapiwa Mufudza are the only uncapped cricketers in the squad.

Sri Lanka have not announced their squad yet, though they announced a new captain. When Dasun Shanaka had left during the World Cup, Kusal Mendis had taken over as stand-in captain. Sri Lanka Cricket recently named Mendis as their new full-time ODI captain. With Dimuth Karunaratne as their Test captain and Wanindu Hasaranga replacing Shanaka in T20Is, Sri Lanka have three captains for three formats now.

The two teams have met in 61 ODIs, and Sri Lanka hold a 47-12 lead including 12-4 on home soil. Both teams have had ordinary runs in the format of late, and had to play in the Qualifiers held in Zimbabwe in July 2023. When the two teams met there, Sri Lanka bowled out the hosts for 165 and won by nine wickets.

Zimbabwe subsequently failed to qualify for the World Cup, while Sri Lanka, after winning the tournament, finished ninth out of ten teams and missed out on a 2025 Champions Trophy berth.
