The second edition of SA20 is scheduled to begin on January 10 at Port Elizabeth, with Sunrisers Eastern Cape taking on Joburg Super Kings. Here is the full list of commentators and broadcasters for the SA T20 league.
The much-awaited SA20, South Africa’s premium franchise league cricket, is scheduled to be played between January 10 and February 10, 2024. Like last season, six sides – MI Cape Town, Joburg Super Kings, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Paarl Royals, Durban Super Giants and Pretoria Capitals – will lock horns against each other in the month-long competition to grab the silverware.
The SA20 2024 auction happened on September 27, 2023, with franchises acquiring new cricketers to fine-tune and bolster their squads.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the defending champions as they trounced runners-up Pretoria Capitals in the previous year’s final, thanks to Roelof van der Merwe’s 4-31 with the balls. Eastern Cape skipper Aiden Makram finished with 366 runs in addition to his 11 scalps in 10 games at an economy rate of 6.19 to become the Player of the Tournament.
A panel of 17 eminent commentators from various parts of the world will provide their invaluable insights, enhancing the viewers’ experience significantly. Ravi Shastri will make his commentary debut in the league this year and will link-up with a prestigious line-up comprising Kevin Pietersen, Chris Morris, Stuart Broad, and Mark Butcher, among other notable personas.
