Batty, who played on the tour of India – the last time Rashid turned out in England whites – gives his thoughts on the leg-spinners inclusion and whether it is a move that diminishes the worth of county cricket. He also talks about Surrey’s season so far, which sees them leading Division One and gunning for their first County Championship title in 16 years.

In among all that, there’s a brief intermission to fawn over Darren Gough, a story about a young, chubby Virat Kohli and a discussion on leg pumps. Yeah, exactly.
