Sky Sports have announced that they plan to broadcast the entirety of the final day of last year’s Headingley Ashes Test this Saturday on its new Sky Sports Cricket YouTube channel as well on their dedicated cricket television channel.
The move means that fans without a Sky Sports subscription will be able to watch the whole day’s play in full for the first time. England home Tests have been broadcast live exclusively in the UK since 2006 on Sky Sports.
As well as showing a rerun of the dramatic final day at Headingley that saw Ben Stokes and Jack Leach secure victory for England by one wicket to keep the Ashes alive, Sky are also showing a rerun of last year’s World Cup final on Easter Sunday, but only on their Sky Sports Cricket TV channel.

Stokes, Leach, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes will all take part in Saturday’s show, featuring in what Sky have described as a “special watchalong show.”
