New Zealand Women and South Africa Women are competing in a three-match ODI series in South Africa. Here is where you can watch live action from the NZ women vs SA women series, including TV channels and live streaming details.

The three-match ODI series between New Zealand women and South Africa women started on September 24 with South Africa winning the match by four wickets. The next two games of the series are on September 28 and October 1 respectively.

South Africa women vs New Zealand women: The 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship

This series is a part of the 2022-2025 ICC Women’s Championship, the qualifying tournament for the 2025 women’s ODI World Cup. The format of the tournament is such that each team is supposed to play eight three-match ODI series, four at home and four away.

New Zealand women are currently sitting at seventh on the table, which consists of ten teams, with four wins from ten games. South Africa women, on the other hand, are better placed at fourth, with six wins from seven games.

South Africa women vs New Zealand women: First ODI result

The first ODI between the two sides was a battle of the middle-orders. New Zealand scored 235-8 batting first, with Brooke Halliday and Hannah Rowe scoring fifties from No. 6 and 7. It did not turn out to be enough, however, as South Africa chased the target down with 17 balls to spare.

Laura Wolvaardt scored a fifty at the top, before South Africa’s No.6 and 7, Nadine de Clerk and Chloe Tryon, chipped in with half-centuries as well to take the hosts to a comfortable victory in the end.

The second ODI will be played in Pietermaritzburg and the third in Durban.
