IPL 2024: Who will play the season opener?
Chennai Super Kings, IPL 2023 champions, will host Royal Challengers Bangalore in the season opener. Then comes the only full weekend of double headers announced thus far: the subsequent weekends of this phase will have double headers only on the Sundays.
IPL 2024: What are the match timings?
Every day from March 22 has a game scheduled at 7:30 pm IST, with early games on double header days starting at 3:30 pm.
Notably, Delhi Capitals will host their home games at Visakhapatnam, presumably because the Arun Jaitley Stadium, their usual home, is in use for the latter stages of the Women’s Premier League.
The 21 games announced make up less than a third of the total games in the competition, with 74 fixtures set to be played, as was the case in 2023 and 2022, when the IPL expanded to 10 teams.
🚨 NEWS 🚨
