IPL 2024 Auction Live Updates

And with that, the IPL 2024 mini (was it, really?) auction comes to a close. The bidding was irregular and unpredictable, which is exactly what you would predict at an IPL auction. Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc went for more than INR 20 crores for the first time in the league’s history. There were a couple of mis-steps along the way in the accelerated rounds, before it ended with RCB putting in a request for a player who had gone unsold twice already. Teams will now have a chance to sit down and analyse their picks. If they don’t like any, the transfer window will reopen tomorrow. This is Naman Agarwal, signing off on behalf of the entire Wisden team.

RCB have put in a request for Saurav Chauhan. And they snap him up at base price. SOLD to RCB for INR 20 lakh!
