Sunrisers Hyderabad will be kicking themselves for squandering two matches they should have won fairly easily. Now they find themselves with zero points after two games and facing the best team in the league. Luckily for them, Mumbai haven’t totally been in their elements so far and this is a good chance for Sunrisers to finally make amends and play to the surface.
Mumbai, meanwhile, had a close shave against Kolkata Knight Riders but haven’t quite hit their straps so far. Their bowling has continued to impress, but the batting has come a cropper twice and Sunrisers will be eyeing this chink the armour.

MI SRH Dream11 Fantasy tips
- There is a shortage of pure batting options for this game, but you are still likely to be better off by staying away from Rohit Sharma. He not only has a pertinent weakness against Sandeep Sharma (four dismissals in 42 balls in IPL), but also in general a middling record against them of late.
- Manish Pandey, despite a couple of decent scores has looked tentative and the pressure on him is high now as he faces Mumbai. It’s likely that his fantasy value will be reduced as he would likely aim to open up more.

- Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar and Trent Boult are must haves as is Rashid Khan. It sorts out your four bowling options for this game. Bhuvneshwar Kumar hasn’t been in good form and is better avoided.
- Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan can be picked although Quinton de Kock for Kishan isn’t a bad option either considering Mohammad Nabi may not play and de Kock has no off-spin to counter early.
- Jonny Bairstow will likely get more opportunities, maybe even open the batting with Wriddhiman Saha a suspect pick in the XI. As such, Bairstow is a good pick for this game. Kieron Pollard is a good x-factor pick, but you could also bank on Manish Pandey instead and look to work the fantasy factor.
- There are several options in the all-round category, but on the basis of performance so far and the pitch in Chennai, Krunal is a good pick. Holder showed an ability to take pace off the ball and generate extra bounce and is a good pick too.
