West Indies schedule for 2022
WI v Ireland (home)
January
Ireland will visit the West Indies to play a three ODI series along with a solitary T20I. There are hints that this T20I encounter might be Chris Gayle’s final international contest.
West Indies v England (home)
January-March
England will arrive in January to play a five T20I series, and then will play a three-match Test series in March for the inaugural Richards-Botham Trophy.
India v West Indies (away)
February
West Indies will tour India for a three ODI series along with a three T20I series in the vein of their last tour to India in 2019.
Pakistan v West Indies (away)
June 2022
The Men in Maroon will tour Pakistan for a three ODI series, seeking to complete their 2021 tour which had to be postponed due to Covid19 cases in the West Indies camp.
West Indies v Bangladesh (home)
July 2022
Bangladesh will visit the West Indies for a full tour, featuring Two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
West Indies v India (home)
August
India will tour West Indies for a three ODI and three T20I series in August after they are done with their tour of England. The last time they toured the West Indies they won all the international contests.
South Africa v West Indies (away)
October
West Indies will play two Tests, and three T20Is in their first tour to the rainbow nation since 2014-15. They have never won a Test series in South Africa, although they did win a contest in 2007.
T20 World Cup 2022
October-November 2022
The 2022 T20 World Cup will be held in Australia, the second time the T20 global tournament will be held in back to back years. West Indies failed to make an impression in the last event in UAE, exiting the 2021 T20 World Cup in the group stages.

West Indies will go Down Under to play a two-Test series in a country where they last won a game in the format in 1996-97.
New Zealand v West Indies (away)
December 2022
West Indies will then go to New Zealand for a three-match ODI series which will play a role in World Cup qualification.
