The second auction of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) took place in Mumbai on December 9 — here is the complete list of players sold during the WPL 2024 auction.

After a successful inaugural edition of the WPL, which saw Mumbai Indians led by Harmanpreet Kaur prevailing over Meg Lannings’ Delhi Capitals in the final to become the titleholders in the maiden season, the focus now shifts to the auction of the second edition.

104 Indians, including mostly uncapped players and 61 overseas cricketers, of which 15 are from associate nations, went under the hammer. Annabel Sutherland was the most expensive overseas player, getting picked up for INR 2 crore by Delhi Capitals.

Indian cricketer Kashvee Gautam became the most expensive uncapped player after Gujarat Giants opted for her services for a whopping 2 crore rupees in a fierce bidding war. Gujarat broke Vrinda Dinesh’s record, who was sold to UP Warriorz at a staggering 1.3 crore INR a few minutes earlier.

Kashvee Gautam and Vrinda Dinesh become the most expensive uncapped players in the WPL.

Gautam was bought by Gujarat Giants for INR 2 crore.
Dinesh was bought by UP Warriorz for INR 1.3 crore.
