The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League will begin on March 4 and will be played entirely in Mumbai. Here is a look at the WPL 2023 schedule, including match timings.
The auction for the upcoming season of the WPL got concluded a few days ago, with Smriti Mandhana fetching the highest bid of INR 3.4 crore. Ashleigh Gardner and Natalie Sciver-Brunt, meanwhile, fetched bids of INR 3.2 crore apiece.
All five teams have put together excellent squads and this tournament looks set to be one of the most exciting women’s franchise competitions in the world. The five sides that will be taking part in the WPL are – Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz.
