Texas Chargers openers Mohammad Hafeez and Mukhtar Ahmed took 10 runs in the first over, bowled by their Pakistani compatriot Najaf Shah, in a US Masters T10 League 2023 match at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill.
Morrisville Unity captain Harbhajan Singh asked S Sreesanth to bowl the second over. After Mukhtar ran a single off the first ball, Hafeez hit the second ball to mid-wicket, where Chris Gayle pouched the hard-hit ball.
After Ben Dunk ran a single, Mukhtar went for a slog, and was caught by Obus Pienaar at deep extra cover.

He finished with 4-12 in two overs, and Texas with 109-7. In response, Morrisville could only reach 75-8 as no one other than Shehan Jayasuriya (22 in 16 balls) and Corey Anderson (16 not out in 17) reached double figures.
For Texas, Hafeez finished with 3-10, Sohail Tanvir with 2-8, and Fidel Edwards with 2-10 in their respective two overs.
