Watch: Jos Buttler took a diving one-handed catch behind the stumps to dismiss Northamptonshire opener Ricardo Vasconcelos during a T20 Blast clash on Sunday (July 2).
Lancashire got the early advantage in the game after Luke Wood dismissed Vasconcelos in the third over of the innings for 12. Vasconcelos got a thick outside edge off the good-length delivery, and the ball seemed to be headed towards the boundary. No one would not have accounted for the leaping Buttler, who scrambled to his left and held onto a stunner.
The right-handed Buttler dived full-length to his left, keeping his eyes on the ball, before extending his left hand to grab the ball, leaving the commentators in awe.
The Steelbacks managed only 138-7 in their 20 overs and lost easily.
