Less than 24 hours after Rilee Rossouw had broken his own record for the fastest PSL century, Usman Khan blitzed a stunning 36-ball ton of his own.
Khan, playing just his second game of the 2023 Pakistan Super League, became the latest man to reach three figures at Rawalpindi, doing so five balls quicker than his Multan Sultans teammate managed yesterday.
The 27-year-old was eventually dismissed for 120 off 43 balls when he was stumped off a wide.
Khan smashed 27 runs off an over twice during his destructive knock, Qais Ahmed the unfortunate beneficiary on both occasions. After two overs, Ahmed’s figures stood at 0-54. In the context of the innings, he did well to drag it back somewhat and finished with 2-77.
In both overs, Khan reached a milestone and removed his helmet in celebration both times.

His opening stand of 157 with Mohammad Rizwan came off 60 balls, with Rizwan contributing just 34 off 17 balls. He was brought into the side for the experienced Shan Masood for just his second PSL game, having managed a golden duck in the first game of the tournament on February 13.
