Watch: Naseem Shah provided Quetta Gladiators the perfect start against Karachi Kings in their Pakistan Super League (PSL) clash today (March 6, 2023), dismissing Matthew Wade off the first ball with an excellent delivery.

Quetta Gladiators have not enjoyed a great PSL season. On Monday, though, Naseem ensured that they started off on the right note against Karachi Kings. He bowled the ball on a length on middle and off stump and it nipped away beautifully. Wade, because of the length, was unsure on whether he should stay in his crease or get onto the front foot. In the end, he had a push at it from his crease and could only feather it through to the keeper, who made no mistake.

Naseem picked up another wicket later in the innings when he got the better of James Fuller courtesy a sizzling yorker that hit the base of the stumps. Quetta Gladiators restricted Karachi Kings to 164, with youngster Aimal Khan also picking up a two-wicket haul. Mohammad Nawaz and Naveen-ul-Haq bagged a scalp each to keep Karachi Kings to a total of 164.
