During the 19th over of the Quetta innings, Shaheen sent down a bouncer which Sarfaraz couldn’t connect. The ball hit him on the helmet and went towards third man as the Quetta skipper exchanged ends.
Having been hit on the head, Sarfaraz was seen gesturing at Shaheen to tone down the aggression. Shaheen did not take kindly to his words and was seen charging down towards the pitch for a face-off, and Sarfaraz retaliated soon after. The umpires converged to keep the two at bay. Mohammad Hafeez too tried to pacify the wicketkeeper-batsman, as he continued his verbal duel with Shaheen.
The ball was eventually declared a no-ball.
Quetta went on to win the game by 18 runs after Lahore had been dismissed for 140 in 18 overs.

Sarfaraz Ahmed have no right to comment on the bouncer by Shaheen Shah Afridi. Bouncers are part of the game of cricket. Sarfraz called for this undue argument. #PSL2021 #HBLPSL6 #PSL #HBLPSL2021 #LQvQG#QGvLQ pic.twitter.com/LcWexT8Kle
