Watch: Rashid Khan produce a new variation of the sweep shot, taking a leaf from MS Dhoni’s much-adored helicopter shot.

In the Pakistan Super League game between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars, Afghanistan’s leg-spinner produced a fiery knock of 27 off just 15 balls from No.8 for Lahore. Rashid came in with his side in a spot of bother, but smashed his way to 17 off 12 balls before taking 10 off the last two balls, including an inventive shot off the final ball.

With his side needing four runs to win, Rashid fetched a length ball bowled wide outside off-stump with a sweep shot that turned into a helicopter six as he completed the swing of his bat.
