The six teams – Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators – selected players who will serve as replacements for originally listed players now unavailable for the rest of PSL 2021. The sixth edition of the tournament was suspended midway in March with players testing positive for Covid-19. The remainder of the tournament will resume on June 2, with all games scheduled to be held in Karachi.
With certain overseas players busy with international commitments and the T20 Blast specifically keeping English cricketers out, the replacement draft saw 19 players being signed up by the six PSL franchises, even as their local roster remained intact.
