SRH vs DC: IPL 2023 team news

Delhi did beat the Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match, but that is their only win from six matches, and they are at the bottom of the points table. With two more points from as many matches, Hyderabad have fared little better.

The Sunrisers top order has not fired. Aiden Markram, Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, and Rahul Tripathi have all got runs, but not as consistently as the team would have wanted to. All eyes will also be on Washington Sundar, who has been uncharacteristically unimpressive.

The Delhi top order has caved in time and again as well. They are yet to find the team balance in the absence of Rishabh Pant, captain, ace batter, and wicketkeeper, and the onus will be on David Warner to step up against his former franchise at a venue where he has always got runs.

After trying out Abishek Porel, they finally roped in Phil Salt as wicketkeeper for one of four overseas slots, leaving out Mustafizur Rahman. That opened up space for a Ishant Sharma, who bowled magnificently on IPL comeback. However, they still do not have space for Rilee Rossouw or Rovman Powell.

In other news, Delhi have replaced the injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti with Priyam Garg.
