SRH and MI have both had similar arcs so far in IPL 2023. They lost their first two matches and have come back to win their last two.

SRH seemed to have zeroed in on a core XI after experimenting in their first two games. Harry Brook’s promotion to the top of the order has reaped almost instant rewards. Mayank Markande has been brilliant with the ball as well, picking six wickets in two matches. The only two spots they would be concerned about are those occupied by Mayank Agarwal and Washington Sundar. Given they are on a winning run, they might give them a couple of more games before they think about dropping them.

Mumbai’s bowing concerns are still intact. There’s no official confirmation on the availability of Jofra Archer and chances are that he might miss this game as well. However, MI would be delighted with the returns of their star Indian batters – Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav – in the last two games. All three of them have registered a 40+ score in the last two matches and are looking good. Rohit played the last match as an Impact Player and he might do the same in this game as well.
