The two teams endured contrasting fortunes in their most recent games. While LSG beat Sunrisers Hyderabad at home, RCB were thumped by the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. Quinton de Kock, who did not feature against SRH, will be available for selection for LSG, although it remains to be seen if he finds a place ahead of Kyle Mayers.

Avesh Khan, who did not play against SRH, may also return to the fold. Mark Wood may also return, having sat out the SRH game due to illness.

After being thrashed by KKR, RCB may be tempted to shuffle things up. But considering the injuries they have already endured, there is not much reason to tinker with their playing eleven. David Willey, coming in for Reece Topley, was brilliant against KKR.

Wayne Parnell has also been signed as a replacement for Topley but might not play a role against LSG. Dinesh Karthik, Glenn Maxwell, Faf du Plessis, Michael Bracewell and Virat Kohli, meanwhile, would be hoping to put up a better batting display.
