IPL auction 2023: Live updates and news

Real-time updates will be added here once the auction begins.

Right. That brings us to the end of this mini-auction. As always, there were plenty of talking points – most of which were around teams spending astronomical sums of money to acquire overseas all-rounders. A few uncapped Indian cricketers also hit the jackpot, with the accelerated auction allowing teams to go back in for Root, Rossouw, Shakib and many others. All in all, it was an auction that ebbed, flowed and entertained throughout. We hope you enjoyed our coverage just as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. This is Shashwat, signing off on behalf of our eyes and ears at the venue Aadya Sharma, and everyone else at Wisden India. Goodbye, and take care!
