Defending champions, Gujarat Titans will kick off IPL 2023 with the opening match on March 31 – here is the full Gujarat IPL schedule, with full fixtures list for GT and match timings.

The 2022 edition winners will host Chennai Super Kings for the first fixture in 2023, with captain Hardik Pandya returning to lead the side. Star overseas players Rashid Khan, David Miller, Alzarri Joseph and Matthew Wade will return to the franchise this season, along with India players Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, Mohammad Shami and Rahul Tewatia.

Gujarat were the second team to win an IPL title in their first year of competition; Rajasthan Royals – who they defeated in the final in 2022 – did so in the inaugural season of the league in 2008. The title was Hardik’s fifth time lifting the IPL trophy, having done so four times previously with Mumbai Indians.

After playing their first fixture at home, Gujarat will travel to Delhi before returning to Ahmedabad to play Kolkata Knight Riders. The side will book-end the league stage of the tournament, they will play the final match before the knockouts away to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
