Defending champions Gujarat Titans will begin their IPL 2023 campaign with a match against Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad on March 31 – here’s their predicted XI for the match, along with tournament prediction, squad and schedule.
Lockie Ferguson is the only absentee in the Gujarat squad from the 11 cricketers who featured in the 2022 IPL final. Ahead of the auction, they traded Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz to the Kolkata Knight Riders, and released Jason Roy, Dominic Drakes, Varun Aaron, and Gurkeerat Singh.
At the auction, the Giants acquired Kane Williamson (for INR 2 crore), Odean Smith (INR 50 lakh), KS Bharat (INR 1.2 crore), and Shivam Mavi (INR 6 crore).

The Gujarat Titans are among few franchises to have not been hit by injuries – yet. Josh Little did pull a hamstring during Ireland’s tour of Bangladesh, but he has joined his Titans teammates. However, David Miller will not be available only after South Africa play their ODIs against the Netherlands, on March 31 and April 3.
