The Mumbai surface is in focus as Rajasthan and Punjab, two batting heavyweights this season, clash on the flat surface that quickens up in the second half of the innings. The choice you are likely going to end up making is between Nicholas Pooran, Chris Gayle and Sanju Samson with Jos Buttler and KL Rahul no brainers in the wicketkeeping category. Samson is possibly a better pick compared to Pooran, especially given the short boundaries and Pooran’s issues against bounce. But Gayle has favourable match-ups and a short boundary to his liking and should be picked
Chris Morris and Ben Stokes are clearly ahead of others in the all-round department. It makes sense to captain Stokes mainly because he opens and is likely to bowl at least two overs. Morris is a death bowler and hitter in the same phase and is another solid pick.

Mohammed Shami as death bowler and Ravi Bishnoi (due to his better prowess against lefties than Murugan Ashwin) are good picks from the PBKS bowling group.
Shahrukh Khan is the designated finisher and even If the Punjab line-up is packed with batsmen, given the shortage of good batsmen in the pure batting category on Dream11 for this game, Shahrukh is a decent pick. That said, if Deepak Hooda plays, he is possibly a better pick than the youngster.
