Dwarshuis atrributes BBL success to India experience

Following a career-best 5-21 against Brisbane Heat to power Sydney Sixers in the BBL 2023-24 final, pacer Ben Dwarshuis has credited his good run of form to a T20I stint in India. In BBL this year, he has scalped 16 times across 10 matches.

“In India, I just think how calm the environment is in the Aussie set-up at the moment was really nice,” Dwarshuis stated.

“It was easy to slide in and be clear on your roles and execute. Going to India, who are the powerhouses of T20 cricket, and putting in a few good performances there a few weeks out from the BBL let me  start the tournament with plenty of confidence.”
