London Spirit’s chances of winning The Hundred may boil down to who England select for their Test series against India, which starts partway through the new white-ball tournament. If Zak Crawley, Dan Lawrence and Mark Wood are, as expected, called upon by Chris Silverwood, London Spirit’s team will look significantly depleted. However, in Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Nabi, and England white-ball captain Eoin Morgan, they still have plenty of world-class talent in their ranks. With Morgan as captain, they also have one of the best leaders and tacticians in the world of cricket, something that might give them the edge in tight matches.

With his skills with both bat and ball, and his years of experience in franchise cricket, Mohammad Nabi would be another great choice.
