by Wisden Staff 3 minute read

The first raft of international stars who will feature in draft for The Hundred have been confirmed.

England limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan has been included in the draft alongside fellow international T20I captains Shakib Al Hasan, Quinton de Kock, Aaron Finch, Kane Williamson, Kieron Pollard, Rashid Khan, and Lasith Malinga.

Steve Smith, Chris Gayle, David Warner, Shahid Afridi, South Africa Test skipper Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, Babar Azam, and Mitchell Starc will also feature in the historic televised draft, the first of its kind in British sport, on Sunday, October 20th.

Moeen Ali, Tom Curran, Liam Plunkett and Jason Roy are the other English players confirmed so far.

Prior to the main draft a draw will determine the order in which each team will pick their players. The team drawn to pick first will select first in the opening round and last in the second round.

Each team will have 100 seconds to pick each player, and the draft will take two and a half hours in total, as the matches will.

Teams can have up to three overseas players in their squads.
