This year’s competition will be played in England during August, with six franchises again competing for the trophy. Last year Trent Rockets were victorious in the men’s competition after beating Manchester Originals in the final. The Oval Invincibles were the champions of the women’s tournament, winning their second consecutive title after beating Southern Brave in a repeat of the 2021 final.
Each team has picked the players they wish to retain and which players to release back into the auction from last year’s squads. The 2023 competition will also feature an auction for the women’s competition for the first time.
