Lancashire have signed Joe Burns as their overseas player for ten County Championship matches in 2019.
The 29-year-old Australia opener has hit three centuries in 14 Tests and has experience of playing in county cricket after turning out for Glamorgan in the 2018 T20 Blast, having also previously represented Leicestershire and Middlesex.
“I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to play for the Red Rose next year,” said Burns, who will boost the county as they bid to bounce back to Division One after relegation this year.
