Glamorgan were well-beaten by last season’s County Championship runners-up Somerset in Taunton as Chris Cooke‘s 82 couldn’t prevent defeat by 289 runs.

The hosts are unsurprisingly unchanged from their victory with batsman Jake Libby set to make his home debut at New Road. Ruaidhri Smith picked up a hamstring injury in the defeat and is replaced in the Glamorgan squad by Timm van der Gugten who has recovered from an ankle injury that forced him to miss the opening round.
